Family Wealth

George Stemerman focuses on family wealth matters. His experience includes working on revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, Advance Healthcare Directives (AHCDs), and certificates of trust. He also drafts and processes entity formation documents, property deeds, irrevocable trusts, and fictitious trusts, ensuring clients’ assets are structured optimally.

George also counsels clients on tax implications related to various transactions such as gifts, bequests, charitable contributions, and income tax consequences associated with estates and trusts.

Prior to joining Coblentz, George was an associate with Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP in Los Angeles.

George is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association.

George earned his Master of Laws with Distinction in Taxation, Certificate in Estate Planning, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2006. George earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2001.
